以段泥為胎製作而成。外壁露紫砂胎，包漿深沉，盤內壁均施白釉，胎釉結合緊密。盤心繪山水紋飾。紋飾刻畫生動，水墨味極強，以藍彩渲染出江水，以赭彩皴繪出枝幹，寥寥數筆，氣韻頓生。底款“金商鼎標”。朱泥材質因其燒製時有較高的收縮率之故，較難成型，此盤尺寸頗大且如此規整，更為難得。器型雖簡，然氣韻十足，意境高雅，是為上等紫砂器具。
