Ink and color on paper, vertical scroll. The painting depicts two scholars in nature setting, one walking and the other reading a book below trees, artist signature and mark Zhang Daqian on the left side. 张大千（1899—1983），名爰，又名秀、季菱，字大千，别号大千居士、蜀人张大千、下里港人，斋名大风起兮，四川内江人。精通绘画、书法、篆刻、诗词，人物、山上、花鸟均善，工笔、写意俱佳。早年临摹历代名迹，后遍游名山大川。1940年后，用两年半时间临摹敦煌壁画。57岁创泼彩画法，创造出一种半抽象、墨彩交辉的意境。与黄君璧、溥心畬以“渡海三家”齐名。曾与齐白石、徐悲鸿、黄君璧、黄宾虹、溥儒及毕加索等交游。 | 裝裱：立轴 | 紙本：设色纸本 | 款識：乙酉春日大千张爱 | 鈴印：张爱之印、大千
