The jade carved figure depicts a young lion cub biting onto a lingzhi confronting a larger lion, lying recumbent on the ground, the jade is of greyish-white color tone with russet and slight translucency.

此為和田玉，有褐色沁，雕琢一大獅和一幼獅。大獅臥伏腳踩一繡球，一小獅依偎於大獅前腿一側爭奪繡球，玉質細膩。雕刻技法精湛紋理清晰，整體線條婉轉流暢，形象生動，太師，少師，為我國傳統吉祥題材紋飾，也有事事如意的寓意所在。
