The large jade carving depicts Guanyin seated in lalitasana on a ledge, lotus flowers and bulbs below, holding a lotus flower in one hand, another hand in mudra, a young boy stands next to Guanyin with hands in praying form, the other side rests a censer with incense rising to the mandorla, all set on top of delicately carved wooden stand with pine tree and lingzhi motif, the jade is of celadon color tone, six character QIANLONG reign mark on the back.
質地縝密細膩溫潤，手感綿滑，成色均勻。以精湛細膩的工藝巧妙地雕刻出一尊祥瑞大氣的觀世音，觀音開臉細緻，線條柔和流暢，生動迷人。觀音面含笑意，臉部線條柔和，飽滿圓潤，頭髮高髻，溫婉柔和，觀音單手持如意，側騎于麒麟背上，身後跟隨可愛的小童子拜觀音希望收他為座下弟子，整體題材構思巧妙，意境安詳溫馨。擺放可辟邪護體保平安。
