The wucai spittoon is of globular form, painted on the exterior to depict ripe fruits and flying butterflies, bottom bears six character KANGXI reign mark, set on carved wooden stand.
此式水丞是康熙朝創新的文房用具之一，因形似蘋果，故稱“蘋果尊”。陳瀏《陶雅》有：“蘋果尊於蘋果綠之外，又有天青、釉裡紅兩種，皆珍玩也”。繪有蝶戀花紋飾，作文房花器。款識：“大清康熙年製”六字楷書青花款。
