The rat stands on four legs, tail raised high, body incised with various
treasure symbols within squares, mouth biting onto a conch-shaped
treasure, eyes wide open.

Possibly of Tang Dynasty period.
Of lobed ovoid form, the washer’s exterior depicts mythical beasts in
different lobes amidst flowers and vines, the center interior depicts a
dragon-head beast with wings chasing after flaming sphere, gilt overall.
