The Western fan opens to delicate and well-painted fan-leaf, one side
painted with well-dressed ladies in a riverside setting, some on the boat
and some on the shore, the reverse painted with girls in icy setting with
angels, the fan sticks pierce carved with birds and flowers, parts of the fan
gilt-decorated.

angels interspersed with flowers and vines, the top with portraits of five
angels, with mark on the bottom right corner.
