YAO WARE CARVED ‘PLUM FLOWERS’VASE
宋 耀州窯刻花梅瓶
Song Dynasty period.
Of olive form, the vase stands on ring foot, rises to sharp and wide
shoulder, with thin neck and flaring rim, body carved with plum flowers
and leaves, above scrolling lappet band, the body of Yao ware vase glazed
in celadon with crackle patterns.
