YAO WARE ‘PLUM FLOWERS’VASE, MEIPING
五代到宋 耀州窯梅瓶
Five Dynasty to Song Dynasty period.
The wide-shouldered vase tapers slightly to the bottom, with waisted and
short neck and flaring rim, exterior depicts plum flowers, leaves, and vines,
between scrolling lappet bands, glazed overall in celadon and decorated
with crackle patterns.
