SPINACH JADE AND WHITE JADE CARVED PLAQUE INSET ZITAN
WOOD TABLE SCREEN
乾隆碧玉白玉童子紫檀掛屏
The table screen is composed of a spinach jade carved plaque inset
into zitan wood frame. The plaque pierce and relief carved on the front,
depicting six white jade carved children playing in outdoor garden setting,
surrounded by trees, mountains, and flowers. The reverse depicts poetry
calligraphy, with QIANLONG signature and mark on bottom left. The zitan
wood frame intricately pierce carved with flowers and vines decorating the
edges of plaque, with additional carvings on the sides and bottom of the
stand.
