WHITE JADE CARVED BOULDER, SHANZI
二十世紀 白玉雕山子 帶木座
20th century.
The jade boulder pierce and relief carved on the front and back, depicting
houses hidden within the mountains and trees, with an elder and
attendant seated on the stone in the front, beneath pine trees. The jade
is of smooth white color with slight inclusions and translucency, all set on
carved wooden stand.

JADE CARVED VASE WITH COVER AND LOOPED HANDLES
玉雕寶瓶 帶座
The jade vase carved in archaic ritual vessel form, the surface depicts taotie
mask and archaic patterns, the mythical beast handles attached to the
cover and neck holding looped rings, the phoenix shaped finial mounted
on top of cover, all supported by wooden carved stand. The jade is of
celadon-white with slight russet.
